We're a coffee loving family of three who believe that the best magic is the kind you brew for yourself. We have professional backgrounds in film, with Shayna as a buyer and Brannan as a craftsman & engineer. Together, we've drank enough coffee to fire a nuclear power plant.

After long years of 12-14 hour shifts, both of us weren't tired of depending on coffee for its ritual and energy kick, we were tired of the shaky hands and diehard afternoon crash it came with. Turns out it's not the coffee that was the problem, but the way it's processed.

Cheap coffee isn't washed, it's not even tested for contaminants like arsenic or insect parts, and the top-shelf brands at the specialty grocery are stale, and in some cases, moldy, and the worst part is--you would never know.

Wand & Owl was born, not just from nerdy fandom, but from good intentions. We've partnered with a small boutique roaster that checks all the marks, and together our mission is to set a new standard; no cut corners and no compromises. Just great tasting coffee, a little bit of magic, and a whole lot of pride.
